The 52nd annual Chicago Air and Water Show presented by the City of Chicago and by Shell will be happening this weekend! Starting at Fullerton and going to Oak Street beach with North Avenue beach being the main stage, Chicago is definitely in for an amazing FREE treat weekend!
The U.S. Navy Blue Angles, The U.S. Army Parachute Team Golden Knights and Chicago’s very own Vince Vaughn are all scheduled to make for one crowd-pleasing afternoon. They are changing it up a little this year by having one continuous show for air and water from 11am till 4pm both Saturday and Sunday.
There is no schedule for the events because it is decided upon by the pilots the morning of the show and from what I remember from last year I want to wish everyone the best of luck with parking. Either way bring a blanket, chairs, a cooler (no alcoholic beverages allowed) and sit back relax and strap it down because this show is definitely a must see for all Chicagoans this weekend!
Make sure to look for RBGmagazine.com coverage on the event from a spectator perspective and a follow up article after this weekend is all said and done. Peace.
