Started in 1991 by Perry Farrell, the singer from Jane’s Addiction, and running annually until 1997, the dreamed seemed to have ended there. That is until it aws revived in 2003 and occured annually (besides a stint in 2004) and has now made it to 2010. The last five years home for the festival has been Chicago’s, Grant Park. This legendary park is perfectly central city, with the city’s infamous skyscrapers acting as the backdrop for the stages. You may remember Grant Park from the Chicago Bulls’ championship after championship celebrations. If you are a Utah Jazz fine, you probably don’t remember this.
