San Francisco – at WorldWide Developers Conference on Monday, Apple Inc. announced their plans for the current iPhone 3G and introduced their latest breakthrough in smartphone technology, the iPhone 3G S.

Coming as heart breaking news to all recent iPhone buyers, the price has now been cut in half, dropping the entry-level 8 gigabyte phone from 199 to 99.

Yet, this latest cut in iPhone prices accompanies a whole variety of Apple product price reductions. Including a 300$ slash to all MacBook Pro’s and 100$ off regular the MacBook.

The new iPhone 3G S will replace earlier models with a standard 16 gigabytes of memory, new operating system, and longer battery life. Along with a faster processing speed, the new operating system will add 100’s of new features. Including a much needed cut-copy-paste feature.
