Barranquilla, Columbia – One of Columbia’s drug cartel’s lost a very important member of their team, Lorenzo the parrot, after Lorenzo was found warning members of the drug cartel that they were in danger of being caught.
Lorenzo kept repeating, “Run! Run! You’re going to get caught!” for the remainder of the day. Poor guy did all he could to help – it’s fair to say the blame is on those who didn’t listen to his warning.
Officers seized more then 200 weapons, a stolen motorcycle, a large quantity of marijuana and 2 other birds.
As for Lorenzo, he has been handed to the environmental authorities who believe that he is one of 1700 look-out parrots seized from drug traffickers.
