Once the card is swiped you can take a picture with your phone of the service yuo rendered or type in a description. The person being charged also has the ability to sign off on their purchase on the iPhone screen, then you’re all finished!
Square was designed to be extrememly user-friendly for both individuals and businesses. The competition, Verifone’s CEO has already tried slamming the product in his personal blog post, but clearly that didn’t do anything, Square now processes over 2 million dollars a day. They take a modest 2.5% fee of each swiped transaction. The fee is a bit higher if you manually type in the card number.
This device is really going to come in handy when I get this garage sale going this summer.
