Justin Bieber – ‘Baby’ ft. Ludacris (272,100,612)
This is the most ridiculous thing ever and there really is no end in sight. Since I started writing this article, Bieber mania has given ‘Baby’ a shade over two million views in little over an hour. The amount of views in no way reflects any actual talent Beiber possesses however, more so a reflection of who is listening to his stupid music: 13-17 year old girls and LOTS OF THEM!
Lady Gaga – ‘Bad Romance’ (256,326,145)
Gaga used to hold down the No. 1 spot of all-time, but then Bieber Fever showed up and stole the show. Lady Gaga has made headlines recently more so for her actions off the stage rather than on it, most notably her spectacle at a New York Yankees game. She’s gearing up for her headliner show at Chicago’s Lollapolooza and is expected to put on quite a show.
This cute duo brought laughter to plenty of your lives, as ‘Charlie bit my finger.’ It’s crazy to think, but Youtube has become the new America’s Funniest Home Videos as parents, family, and friend’s capture the most candid moments on cameras while posting them online. ‘Charlie bit my finger’ revolutionized the instant fame you can expect to see if you film your children’s memorable moments.
Judson Laipply – ‘Evolution of Dance’ (148,660,162)
Laipply hit stardom four years ago with his ‘Evolution of Dance,’ which has quickly skyrocketed up the all-time views rankings ever so quickly. With just over 148 million views, Laipply can expect to keep on dancing well into the next decade. Covering dance moves from generation to generation, Laipply gets applause for creativity and choice of songs. This, my friends, deserves to be seen more than a Bieber Fever video, plain and simple.
Miley Cyrus – ‘Party in the U.S.A.’ (143,818,577)
Cyrus is well known for not only her atrocious signing, but acting as well with her claim to fame being the hit Disney show Hannah Montana. Cyrus certainly knows how to have a good time, making the news recently for getting caught with her panties off. Haven’t we seen this before? Congratulations Miley, you’re making headlines in myriad of ways.
Shakira – ‘Waka Waka’ (137,379,702)
The months of June and July brought the world the amazing World Cup of soccer and the official 2010 FIFA World Cup song sung by the curvaceous Shakira. ‘Waka Waka (This time for Africa)’ is actually a great video namely because of the soccer highlights but also because Shakira is smoking hot and because the World Cup is simply bad ass. The opening ceremony was something to behold especially when Shakira came out to sing the official World Cup song.
Pitbull – ‘I Know You Want Me’ (135,111,488)
To be completely honest, we over at RBGMagazine have absolutely no idea how this Pitbull video made the Top-10 list of most viewed Youtube videos. What the $#%^ is he talking about anyways? I’m pretty sure that the views come from an international stand point as well, with Pitbull getting a lot of Latin love, but seriously this is a joke: 135 million views and all the guy can say about South Beach is, “Miami got an ass like a donkey, with a monkey.”
Another home video makes it on this prestigious list with a small baby laughing his ass off at the hilariousness of what is most likely his father. Much like ‘Charlie bit my finger,’ another parents took a few minutes to make ridiculous noises that only a baby would laugh at and get it all on tape. The baby isn’t the only one laughing, as just over 131 million people have taken the time to get in a few quick laughs as well.
Miley Cyrus – ‘7 Things’ (127,284,723)
WARNING! This is not a joke. Another Miley Cyrus song makes it on the Top-10 list of most viewed Youtube videos of all time. Trust me when I say this never, never listen to another Miley Cyrus song for as long as you live.
Lady Gaga – ‘Just Dance’ ft. Colby O’Donis (118,423,782)
Gaga, much like Cyrus, makes it on the list for a second time and here is one I can finally relate to somehow. The opening scene is reminiscent of my days in school waking up to a gigantic hangover only to want to do it again and again. ‘Just Dance’ is playable, especially the remix with Akon who throws down his traditional, melodic chorus throughout the song.
