The Blackhawks have officially signed right winger Fernando Pisani to a 1 year deal. The deal happened on Tuesday and Pisani will be making $500,000. Pisani has been with the Edmonton Oilers for his 7 year career where he has proved to be a good penalty killer.
The winger played his early days in St. Albert Saints of Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL). He was then drafted in the 1996 NHL entry draft with the 195th overall pick. Pisani was the first player to score a shorthanded overtime goal in the Stanley Cup Finals on June 14, 2006.
