The WKG crew checked out this year’s Chicago Air & Water show at North Avenue beach where the weather was perfect and the crowd once again mesmerized by the countless stunts and tricks performed by these daring, courageous pilots in the air!
The most highly-anticipated were of course the Blue Angels, the U.S. Navy pilots whose flight demonstrations exhibit “the pinnacle of precision flying, performing maneuvers locked as a unit in the renowned, six-jet Delta Formation,” as the team’s website states. And the crew did not fail to deliver. Serving as the show’s grand finale, this team put on quite a performance!
“They’re incredible! They give me the chills!” said Sharon, one of the naval teams’ bigger fans who was anxiously awaiting their arrival.
Performing stunts like you wouldn’t believe, the Blue Angels have certainly mastered unparalleled coordination and meticulous precision skills. “They’re simple the best,” said Ron, who attended the show with his kids Ross, Chad and Ron—all of whom are also huge fans of the talented flight team.
“The Blue Angels are awesome,” they all said.
Other headliners of the show were also the Golden Knights and Leap Frogs, the U.S. Army’s and U.S. Navy’s parachute teams, respectively.
