Paramore – Riot!

Franklin, Tennessee natives Paramore are back and better than ever with “Riot!” so get your tickets and pickets, and head to the show. Their previous release, “All That We Know is Failing,” proved to be a huge success gaining them airtime, as well as music television time with their popular single, “Pressure.” The popular music video displayed the constant pressure of the food service industry, which happens to be a subject that a lot of people can relate to, and loathe at the same time (imagine that).

However, “Pressure” was not the only track worth listening to on the album. In fact, the entire album kept your attention all the way through, even when lead singer Hayley Williams sang her sorrow concerning her hometown, protesting that although Franklin is by definition home, it’s actually something quite the contrary.

Homeless or not, Paramore demonstrates a formula that is extremely special and unique. The vocals are exceptionally soothing and uplifting, proving to be something that you crave when you don’t hear. Nonetheless, the vocals aren’t the only diamond that comprises Paramore. The guitar hooks and instrumentals are always keeping the listeners attention as well as proving to be timeless and dangerously catchy.

“Riot!” displays a maturation of a young band that is almost at their peak. Still expressing discontent with love’s mishaps, Williams’ voice is so honest it’s hard not to feel her anguish and dissatisfaction. However, you will be relieved knowing that each track proves to be a satisfying anthem that is certainly appropriate for a variety of emotions, especially those associated with moving on.
