Thierry Henry Set For Return to Arsenal

There is no question that French striker Thierry Henry has made a large impact in MLS since arrival to the New York Redbulls. Weeks after a statue was presented for the soccer star by his old Arsenal club. Henry is set to go back to his old club on a 2 month loan that would have him playing with his old team until the end of March. Henry who played for Arsenal between 1999-2007 is the clubs all-time record scorer with 226 goals. The 34 year old also has won two league titles and three FA cups with Arsenal. If the loan goes through (which is predicted to happen within the next 48 hours) the striker would apear in seven crucial Premier League games, FA Cup, and the Champion League-16 match against AC Milan. With the loan, Henry would be sent back to the USA on March 10 for workout with his New York based club. The loan is very similar to the loan that LA Galaxy star Landon Donovan received from Everton earlier this month. This could be one of the great loans for a club that needs an extra boost as they approach the most critical portion of the season. Their is no doubt that Arsenal and their fans are waiting with open arms for the loan to be finalized.
