Netflix is unveiling a new television series starring “The Sopranos” star and E Street Band guitarist Steven Van Zandt. It’s called Lilyhammer. Van Zandt will still be acting in his usual role, but he’ll be thousands of miles from New Jersey. Due to a plea bargain, his witness protection location was negotiated to be Norway, which, seems pretty random. The new series will be available February 6, 2012 on Netflix and will also air in Norway on their public television station. However, there is some conflict going on between the producers of the show and the Norway television station due to advertising not being available on their public access channel. Look for it, it may be worth a shot.
